The Phoenix Sessions Update 2026

Life has thrown many changes my way recently, including packing all my recording gear away along with everything else in boxes. By the end of this summer, I will be single and living on my own for the first time in a very long time. Recording has ground to a halt but it will resume into the fall and by winter, I should at least have a single to release. There is no lack of original songs to choose from, as they have been stacking up like cord wood since late 2023’s release of Breaking All The Rules. The single “Words In Your Mouth” was released in 2024 and it was supposed to be the first single off of Phoenix, but the world had other plans.

The Phoenix has risen, but the album has yet to take flight. I have been writing and performing the whole time, so I know the songs are good, but they will be so much better with the production and the instrumentation they deserve when they are released. The hardest part will be picking 12 of them out of the 40 great songs I have written in the meantime. I may end up just releasing singles and not bother with an album. Time will tell. I will try to be more present now and post more often for you. Thank you for being a friend and a fan all these years. I love you all. I’ll see you on stage somewhere.
